WHO WE WORK WITH & TESTIMONIALS
ESCAPE THE TRAP
I have found that our students have really benefited from this programme and your friendly, relaxed approach has given them the space to open up about their own experiences.
There are several students who throughout the weeks would normally refuse to come to school and have said “Miss I have only come in because it is Escape The Trap” which is testimony to you and your amazing programme.
I feel the programme has allowed them to be more vigilant in their own relationships going forward and has given them clarity on why certain things may have happened in their past.
Thank you so much for the tools you have given our students to hopefully enable them to not fall in the trap and go onto have healthy relationships in the future.
ESCAPE THE TRAP
An insight into how to refer to abusive behaviours in a way that is teen friendly and relatable. I feel so much more confident in exploring this with teens and young adults.
This is a toolkit that young people can relate to and engage with in a meaningful way.
WHO’S IN CHARGE?
This training was amazing. It is a refreshing change to have a course which is parent-focused and child-centred and that empowers parents to regain control without guilt.
VOICE PROGRAMME
I really enjoyed the tone of the training and how it felt like a safe space for all in attendance. I’m so looking forward to facilitating this and am sure this will be the new ‘must have’ programme in the domestic abuse support work sector.
ESCAPE THE TRAP
Loved this training! It is really in-depth with lots of relevant examples. It has helped to build my confidence in facilitating it, but also in understanding and acknowledging the different personas and the early warning signs.
WHO’S IN CHARGE?
This training has had a massive impact on my practice. I have learned loads and have a broader understanding of CPV. I feel I could actually deliver this programme and I’m 100% certain that it will be hugely impactful for our families. I can see how the culture of change will filter through with them in to the wider community, affecting not just individuals and families but also other areas of their lives. Every aspect of this training and the tools are insightful, really real and very usable. Parents will definitely connect with the learning process.
VOICE PROGRAMME
The training manual, slides and content are so well put together it feels like every aspect has been thought of and we will be immediately good to go!
One week links to the next, starting the recovery process from the first week.
I feel participants will gain invaluable tools for starting to heal alongside the information needed to understand where they have been and how to protect themselves going forward.
ESCAPE THE TRAP
Although I have attended some training and awareness on domestic abuse and CSE in the past, I feel that this training has enabled me to see the various, different characteristics of an abusive relationship and how these may come into play.
It has also developed my awareness and confidence in how to have these conversations with young people and to work with them specifically around this topic.
WHO’S IN CHARGE
This training has been so positive and the way it has been delivered has been great.
It has debunked a lot of myths and ideas about the causes of child-to-parent violence and given me a greater perspective on the parent’s experience and how they are the key to addressing their child’s behaviour.
VOICE PROGRAMME
I think the programme will genuinely make a difference in the lives of victims and survivors, which is all we want in this sector.
The content was very clearly written from a trauma-informed perspective, which is great for facilitators and for those attending the programme.
